STILLWATER (AP) — A trial is starting in Washington County for a man accused of killing another man who was trying to sell his car on Craigslist.

The Star Tribune reports jury selection begins Monday in the trial of 20-year-old Dao Xiong of Oakdale. Xiong is accused of killing 33-year-old You Lor after Lor advertised his car for sale on Craigslist last September.

According to a criminal complaint, Xiong never meant to buy the car, but wanted to steal it for auto parts. Xiong allegedly took the car for a test drive with Lor, drove to an isolated area, then shot Lor and took the car. Another man allegedly helped steal the car parts.

Xiong is charged with first-degree murder, which includes premeditation.

Lor was a father of four from St. Paul.
