In Chisago County, sheriff's officials recovered the body of a 26-year-old man who had jumped off a cliff into the St. Croix River near Rock Island.
In Dakota County, the body of a woman in her 20s was recovered near the Crystal Lake boat landing in Burnsville. The search continued Sunday for a Twin Cities man who went under while boating with friends in Hennepin County's Wayzata Bay. Also in Hennepin County, a man in his 30s apparently drowned in a pond at a Maple Grove park.
The body of a 26-year-old St. Louis Park man who jumped off a pontoon boat was recovered Sunday from Lower Whitefish Bay near Brainerd. The Star Tribune stated a 16-year-old Duluth boy died after hitting his head on a boat and slipping underwater on Island Lake in St. Louis County Friday evening.
