Assault under investigation
WORTHINGTON – The Worthington Police Department is investigating an assault that occurred in the early morning hours Saturday.

According to Worthington Police Sgt. Bill Boldt, the incident was reported at 2:35 a.m. Saturday at Omaha and Dover streets. One person was trans-ported to the Sanford Worthington Medical Center. Boldt was unable to confirm the cause of extent of the person's injuries.
No further information on the assault will be released until Monday morning, according to Boldt.
