Hello Worthington,

I am back in Crailsheim for almost two weeks now.

During the month of June, I was traveling with my parents from the east coast to Worthington. I met my family in New York. It was a little weird to see my family after almost one year, but it was also nice.

We stayed for three days in New York and then went to Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and Chicago. After five days of driving and visiting cities we stopped at the house of my dad’s uncle in Cedarburg, Wis., which is near Milwaukee. We stayed there for almost one week before we took off to go to Minneapolis and then back to Worthington.

In Worthington we visited the Dayton House and Pioneer Village. We also went to Sioux Falls, the Pipestone Monument and Blue Mound State Park. Before my family left the United States I showed them where I lived, and so we stayed at every host family for a little bit.

After my family left, I only had three weeks left. During that time, I mostly did something with friends or my host family. I spent the July 4th weekend in Spicer at the Green Lake. There was a nice parade in the morning and nice fireworks at night, and the weather was warm.

The week after I arrived in Germany, I spent most of the time with the ‘Amazing’ Worthington City Band. I had a good time, and it was fun to meet friends from Worthington in Crailsheim.

The last year was a year full of new experiences, making new friends and exploring a new culture. Thank you!
