Jessica Hanten and Brandon Peil, both of Lakefield, announce their engagement.

Parents of the couple are Jarett and Heidi Hanten and Mike and Melissa Burns, all of Worthington.

Hanten is a graduate of Minnesota West Community and Technical College with an associate’s degree in business management. She is employed at Accent, Jackson.

Peil is a graduate of Minnesota West Community and Technical College with an associate’s degree in law enforcement. He is employed as a police officer in Jackson.

They plan an Oct. 22 wedding at First Lutheran Church, Worthington.
