MARSHALL — Tuesday’s game between Southwest Christian and Marshall was scoreless for more than 50 minutes, but when the Eagles started scoring they went all out.
SWC scored three times in the final 27 minutes and Zach Huisken had a shutout in goal in a 3-0 victory against the Tigers.
Dominic Nibbelink opened the scoring in the 54th minute by netting a rebound after an effort by Clayton Huisken was saved by MHS goalkeeper Danny West.
Damon VanderMaten scored 20 minutes later off of a pass from Klint Knutson and Andrew Top topped off the victory by scoring with 27 seconds remaining in the contest.
