The fourth and final Southwest Minnesota Honor Flight is history, but the memories linger on. I had the honor of being a guardian on that flight. It was “a trip of a lifetime,” and I would go again in a heartbeat. It was such a privilege to help the World War II veterans as they saw their memorial.

It took hours of planning to make the Honor Flight such a memorable trip. I want to thank everyone that had a part in that planning and all those that gave financially toward the trip.

Thank you to each and every veteran for your service to our great country. You truly are the “Greatest Generation”!
