Rollover accident takes life of Fulda man

WORTHINGTON — A Fulda man was killed after his vehicle veered across the center line on Nobles County 14 Thursday and hit a field approach, rolling the SUV.

WORTHINGTON — A Fulda man was killed after his vehicle veered across the center line on Nobles County 14 Thursday and hit a field approach, rolling the SUV.

According to the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office, the man was transported by ambulance to Sanford Worthington Medical Center. A helicopter had been brought in to transport him to a Sioux Falls hospital, but the victim died at the emergency room in Worthington.

Brewster Rescue was dispatched at approximately 1:40 p.m. Thursday to the scene, located about a mile east of U.S. 59 on Nobles County 14. Authorities have no current indication of why the vehicle veered across the road, but an investigation is pending.

His name is being withheld from release pending notification of family.
