OKABENA — A week after falling 80-30 to Spirit Lake, Harris-Lake Park’s girls basketball team got back on track, knocking off Southwest Star Concept 44-40 Monday night.
Noreen Morrow led the way for H-LP with 20 points. Mariah Gath added 10 points for the Wolves.
Kailey Wendland scored 10 points and Arianna Hesemann added seven points for SSC, as the Quasars fell in their season opener.
H-LP is back in action Thursday night at home versus Okoboji and SSC will take on Mountain Lake/Butterfield-Odin Friday on the road.

Sibley-Ocheyedan 38, South O’Brien 36
SIBLEY, Iowa — Sibley Ocheyedan started the game on a 12-0 run and edged out South O’Brien.
Bridget Doeden had eight points, Jurnea Harberts had seven points and Kayla Ackerman dished out five assists to lead S-O (1-1).
Erin Brasser led South O’Brien with 11 points.
S-O will take on George-Little Rock today at 6:15 p.m.
