Alicia Friesen, Windom, and Brian DeVries, Jackson, announce their engagement.
Parents of the couple are Bruce and Darla Friesen, Windom, and Curt and Kathy DeVries, Worthington.
Friesen is currently pursuing a degree in psychology with an emphasis in Christian counseling online through Liberty University. She is employed by Jerry and Shar Ebbers, Windom.
DeVries is a graduate of Minnesota State University, Mankato, with a bachelor’s degree in construction management. He is employed by Christensen Construction, Estherville, Iowa.
They plan a Dec. 30 wed-ding.
