Knips-Freihammer

Katie Knips and Jesse Freihammer were married Aug. 13 at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Brainerd.

Parents of the couple are Dale and Jan Knips, Lakefield, and Bill and Mary Freihammer, Baxter.

Maid of honor was Heather Wagner. Bridesmaids were Kristy Connors, Leigha Sanow and Amber Fricke. Flower girl was Lauren Castle.

Best man was Jeremy Freihammer. Groomsmen were Brandon Freihammer, Jared Knips and Dan Knips. Ushers were Dave Blommel and Brian Lintgen. Ring bearer was Cameron Prins.

The reception and dance were at the Nisswa Community Center.

The bride is a graduate of Minnesota State University, Mankato, with a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. She is employed as a dental hygienist in Brainerd.

The groom is a graduate of North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He is employed as the assistant engineer for the city of Brainerd.

They live in Baxter.
