MARSHALL — Luverne’s girls’ hockey team used a big second period to blow by Marshall 7-2 Tuesday.
Lauren Christensen had a hat trick to go along with three assists and Katie Eeten had one goal and two assists to lead the way for Luverne. Makayla Sterett notched a goal and an assist, while Ellen Dahl and Madisyn Dingman each scored a goal as well for Luverne (6-5-1). Kennedy Gonnerman had 15 saves in goal for the Cardinals.
Luverne will take on Worthington at home Thursday.
