PREP BOYS' BASKETBALL: Ihnen scores 23 to keep H-LP undefeated in 36-point victory over G-T/R-A

LAKE PARK, Iowa — Eli Ihnen scored 23 points to go along with five rebounds and five assists Tuesday night, sparking the undefeated Harris-Lake Park Wolves to a Cornbelt Conference boys’ basketball victory over Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire 73-37.

LAKE PARK, Iowa — Eli Ihnen scored 23 points to go along with five rebounds and five assists Tuesday night, sparking the undefeated Harris-Lake Park Wolves to a Cornbelt Conference boys’ basketball victory over Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire 73-37.

Brady Nissen and Colin Brons added 17 and 11 points, respectively, for the Wolves (9-0, 5-0). Cade Heikens dished out six assists and came up with three steals for H-LP, which plays at George-Little Rock on Thursday.

SWC 82, RL-B 25

EDGERTON — Dominic Nibbelink led the Eagles with 14 points and six steals in Southwest Christian’s boys’ basketball win over Round Lake-Brewster Tuesday.

Zach Huisken added 12 points and both Gabe Vander Veen and Leighton Sampson had 10 points for the Eagles (6-0).

Brady Meyer led the Raiders with 12 points.

SWC travels to Worthington for its next game Friday. RL-B plays Harris-Lake Park on Tuesday.

Windom 64, JCC 55

JACKSON — Trevor Cuppy led the Eagles with 16 points in Windom’s boys’ basketball win over Jackson County Central Tuesday.

Andy Pfeffer added 12 points for Windom.

The Huskies (1-8) were led by Taylor Christopher’s 14 points. Jon Harmening added 10 points and 14 rebounds, while Zach Copley had 10 points and seven rebounds for JCC.

JCC travels to play Martin County West on Thursday.

SHELDON, Iowa — Dallas Ennema led his team with with 30 points as Sheldon’s boys’ basketball team defeated West Lyon Tuesday night.

Chris Balster added 14 points for Sheldon, which is now 5-3 on the season.

West Lyon (7-4) was led by Kyle Groeneweg’s 18 points. Cody Bauman added 12 points.

Sheldon travels to play Central Lyon Friday night.

NORTHROP — Jameson Collin led the Quasars’ boys’ basketball team with 19 points and 11 rebounds in Southwest Star Concept’s win over Martin Luther Tuesday night.

Austin Liepold added eight points, nine rebounds and four assists, while Andrew Kramer added eight points for the Quasars (4-3).

SSC will host Adrian Friday in the team’s Coaches vs. Cancer night.

SIBLEY, Iowa — Harrison Feldkamp led his team with 17 points and eight rebounds as Sibley’s boys’ basketball team lost to Boyden-Hull Tuesday night.

Caleb Hartwig added 11 points and seven rebounds for Sibley, which is now 1-7 on the season.

Sibley travels to Okoboji Friday.

CANBY — Taylor Hoffbeck led the Panthers with 15 points in Tracy-Milroy-Balaton’s win over Canby Tuesday in boys’ basketball action.

Parker Lanour added 10 points for T-M-B, which is now 4-5 on the season.

The Panthers host Renville County WestFriday.
