LAMBERTON — Wabasso/Red Rock Central split its duals in a triangular meet with Jackson County Central and Adrian Thursday night.
W/RRC fell to JCC 37-24 in the first meet of the night.
In that dual for the Huskies, Kyle Edlin and Cooper Moore recorded pins. For W/RRC, Spencer Jenniges, Tanner Rohlik and Cody Welch each recorded pins.
W/RRC defeated Adrian 33-25 in the second dual of the night.
There were three pins in that meet. Ben Mulder of Adrian got the pin in the 132-pound weight class, Mitch Rohlik of W/RRC got the pin in the 170-pound weight class and Alex Schroepfer of W/RRC got the pin in the heavyweight division.
Jenniges and Welch were the only two W/RRC wrestlers to receive wins in each of their matches. Jenniges recorded a pin against JCC and had a decision over Adrian’s Tony Lynn. Welch recorded a pin against JCC and won by forfeit against Adrian.
W/RRC’s next meet is Saturday at Pipestone Area, Adrian wrestles Owatonna and Winona/Winona Cotter on Saturday and JCC travels to the Sioux City East Dual Invite on Saturday.
