MARSHALL — Southwest Star Concept’s boys’ basketball team used an 11-4 run in overtime to knock off Canby 68-61 Saturday at Southwest Minnesota State University.
Of the 68 points for SSC (6-4), 61 of them belonged to Andrew Kramer (31 points) and Jameson Collin (30 points). Kramer also added eight rebounds, five assists and five steals to fill the stat sheet and Collin added 14 rebounds to complete a double-double.
SSC trailed by seven with nine minutes to go, but came back in the second half to force overtime.
Canby had three in double figures as Cole Brusven scored 16, Michael Slaba scored 15 and Michael Sisk scored 13.
SSC will take on Murray County Central on the road Tuesday.

Luverne 63, MCW 60
SHERBURN — Brett Heronimus had 18 points, 10 assists and six rebounds, Josh Slieter had 12 points, Devin Heitkamp had 11 points and Alex Weis had 10 points to lead Luverne’s boys’ basketball team Saturday.
Austin Krumwiede (27 points, 10 rebounds) and Kyle Brolsma (10 points, 10 rebounds) had double-doubles and Cordell Weber had 10 points to lead Martin County West.
Luverne will take on Jackson County Central Friday.

Wabasso 50, RRC 49
LAMBERTON — Wabasso hit a free throw with 1.9 seconds remaining to clinch the win over Red Rock Central Saturday in boys’ basketball action.
Jeff DeCock had 25 points and 11 rebounds to lead RRC (4-6) and Aaron Brau had 22 points to lead Wabasso (8-5).
RRC will be at Adrian Tuesday.
