Letter: Memorial Auditorium in excellent hands

I had the good fortune to watch the National Public Television special “Live from the White House” that was in honor of Martin Luther King Day.

One of the featured entertainers happened to be The Blind Boys of Alabama, and it gave me pause. This group played in Worthington, at Memorial Auditorium, and was now performing for the President of the United States and the entire country. It gave me pause to consider how Worthington had the opportunity to see this musical group.

The person that has quietly managed behind the scenes at Memorial Auditorium is Margaret Vosburgh. She has worked tirelessly over the years in providing professional management of this incredible showplace. Over the years, she has brought amazing world-class talent to this community. She has also professionally guided the beautiful new renovation to this building that is an asset to our community.

Margaret Vosburgh is a person of uncommon merit. Your community appreciates you, and our gratitude abounds.
