MARSHALL — Zach Huisken had a monster night to lead Southwest Christian to a 78-65 win over Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Saturday at Southwest Minnesota State University in boys’ basketball action.

MARSHALL — Zach Huisken had a monster night to lead Southwest Christian to a 78-65 win over Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Saturday at Southwest Minnesota State University in boys’ basketball action.

Huisken finished with 41 points, 18 rebounds and four assists to lead SWC (11-1). Andrew Top chipped in 11 points, six rebounds and four assists and Keeran Sampson added 10 points to help lead the Eagles.

R-T-R (11-3) was led by Brett Peterson (26 points, six rebounds), Philip Madsen (eight points) and Shay Wabeke (eight points).

SWC will host Edgerton Thursday and R-T-R will host Edgerton today.

G-LR 50, Sheldon 46

SHELDON, Iowa — George-Little Rock (4-10) won the boys’ basketball matchup behind 14 points, four rebounds, four steals and four assists from Judd Rosenboom and 12 points and nine rebounds from Matt Nagel.

G-LR will take on Unity Christian on the road today and Sheldon (8-6) will travel to Okoboji Tuesday.
