TYLER — Edgerton’s girls’ basketball team knocked off Russell-Tyler-Ruthton 57-36 Monday night.

TYLER — Edgerton’s girls’ basketball team knocked off Russell-Tyler-Ruthton 57-36 Monday night.

Tanner Gunnink finished with a double-double, scoring 15 points and hauling in 18 rebounds, while Jessica Menning chipped in 13 points and six rebounds to lead Edgerton (9-5).

Kaylie Nielsen led R-T-R (4-10) with 12 points.

Edgerton will host Southwest Christian and R-T-R will travel to Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg today.

ROCK RAPIDS, Iowa — Central Lyon’s girls’ basketball team cruised by Hills-Beaver Creek Monday behind 14 points, 11 assists and five steals from Lexi Ackerman, 11 points from Wynter Roths and 10 points and five blocks from Jennifer Johnson. With the win, the Lions improved to 14-2 overall on the season.

Meghan Leuthold led H-BC (1-13) with 11 points.

CL will host West Lyon and H-BC will travel to Adrian today.
