PIPESTONE — The Windom Eagles improved their Southwest Conference boys’ basketball record to above .500 with a 66-50 road win over the Pipestone Area Arrows Friday night.
Lee Holt led the Eagles’ effort with 21 points, while his twin brother, Jake Holt, added 13 points and Trevor Cuppy totaled 11.
Reed Schiebout paced the Arrows with 12 points, followed by Jacob Derby with 10 and Blake Olsen with eight.
Windom now sits at 4-3 in the SWC and 12-4 overall, while PA falls to 1-12 overall and 0-8 in the conference.
Both teams host SWC games Tuesday as the Arrows entertain Luverne, while the Eagles face rival Jackson County Central.

LUVERNE — The Cardinals took a seven-point lead into the break and then opened up the game in the second half by outscoring the Tracy-Milroy-Balaton Panthers by 16 points for a non-conference victory for Luverne.
Devin Heitkamp sparked the Cardinals by shooting 54 percent from the field, including five of nine on 3-pointers. He finished with 21 points and garnered five steals.
Luverne (11-5, 4-3 in the Southwest Conference) also had Brett Heronimus (four assists, three steals) and Alex Weis (five rebounds, four assists) each with 13 points and Josh Slieter grabbed six rebounds.
Taylor Hoffbeck scored 12 points to lead the Panthers, while Parker Lanoue added 11 points and five rebounds.
T-M-B (8-8, 6-3 in Camden Conference) shot 39 percent from the field, while the hosts put in shots at a 45-percent clip.
The Cardinals host St. James today, while the Panthers host Dawson-Boyd Tuesday.

SIBLEY, Iowa — The Generals played the Sioux Center Warriors even through one period of play, but the visitors progressively pulled away from Sibley-Ocheyedan over the balance of the contest in a Siouxland Conference clash.
Caleb Hartwig (six rebounds) scored a game-high 21 points to lead the Generals, while Tyler Newman and Harrison Feldkamp (seven rebounds) each added 11 points.
SC (12-5) was led by Andrew O’Donnell’s 20 points and Beau Boer’s 12 points.
S-O (3-11, 3-10) hosts Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn today.

SHELDON, Iowa — Andrew Van Ginkel ripped the net for 29 points, while Kyle Jensen added 10 points as the Rock Valley Rockets knocked off the Sheldon Orabs in Siouxland Conference play.
Trevor Johnson led the Orabs with 16 points, while Matt Dykstra contributed 15 points.
Sheldon (9-7, 9-4) travels to LeMars today.
