Agnes May Fellger, 89, was born September 15, 1922, in Crookston, MN, the daughter of Andrew and Caroline Bennen Woodstrom. Agnes married C.J. Fellger on November 4, 1946, in Crookston. She worked as a secretary for Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and was a member of the O.K. Club. She was a very kind-hearted lady and loved reading her Bible. She enjoyed jokes, collecting frogs, watching the Minnesota Twins and University of Minnesota Basketball and playing cards. She also enjoyed doing cross-stitch and needlepoint and shared many of her creations with family and friends. Agnes was surrounded by her family when she passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2012, at the Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Fulda, MN.
Agnes is survived by two sons, Dale Fellger of Worthington, and Glen (Donna) Fellger of Tucson, AZ; one daughter, Jane (Kevin) Kelley of Richmond, VA; two grandchildren, Patricia (Greg) Walker and their children, Sean, Ryan and Kate, and Troy (Cyndee) Fellger and their twins, Claire and Cayla; and one sister, Irene Berg of Simi Valley, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband, C.J.; grandson, Sean Kelley; brother, Kenny Woodstrom; and sister, Helen Harms.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, January 30, 2012, at the American Lutheran Church in Worthington, with the Rev. Ryan Radtke officiating. Burial will be in Worthington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Monday, January 30, 2012, at the American Lutheran Church in Worthington.
Benson Funeral Home in Worthington is in charge of the arrangements.
