WORTHINGTON — Newport Laboratories, a leader in the production of livestock vaccines, announces it has obtained ISO 9001:2008 certification of its Quality Management System.

The ISO 9001 quality standard is the most widely recognized and established quality management system in the world.

ISO certification provides assurance about a company’s ability to satisfy quality requirements, while enhancing customer satisfaction.

“ISO 9001:2008 certification demonstrates that our employees are committed to continually improve our quality products and services to meet the ever changing demands of our customers,” said Randy Simonson, general manager/chief operating officer, in a press release. “Our success is centered on research, innovation, customer service and marketing. This certification validates and reinforces the critical role we play within the marketplace. We believe that achieving this prestigious certification is a reflection of our commitment and further enhances our credibility and customer confidence.”
