Schons is a 2004 graduate of Worthington High School. She is employed by New Dawn, Fulda.

Funk is a 1993 graduate of Sibley-Ocheyedan High School. He is employed at Monogram Meats, Chandler.

They play a May 12 wedding in Fulda.
