ROCK RAPIDS, Iowa — Central Lyon knocked off George-Little Rock 47-36 in the first round of the Iowa Class 1A Region 1 playoffs Thursday in girls’ basketball action.
Lexi Ackerman led the way for CL (19-3) with 17 points, while her twin sister, Kelsey, chipped in 15 points and Kori Schulte added 10 points and 10 rebounds.
G-LR (12-11) was led by Taylor Carstensen (10 points).
CL will host Boyden-Hull Tuesday.
