MINNEAPOLIS — Jackson County Central finished in sixth place in Class A at the team competition of the gymnastics state tournament Friday at the University of Minnesota.
JCC finished with a score of 138.275 behind a 35.750 on vault, 33.100 on bars, 33.800 on beam and a 35.625 on floor.
Sydnee Donnelli led the way for JCC, hitting a 9.175 on the floor exercise, an 8.625 on beam, an 8.775 on uneven bars and a 9.275 on vault.
Brandi Sether-Hassing led the team with a 9.000 on beam and an 8.875 on bars.
Donnelli will be competing in all events (vault, beam, bars, floor and all-around) individually today along with teammates Sether-Hassing, who will compete in the all-around, floor and bars and Adriane Rentschler, who will be competing on the bars and beam.
