ROCK RAPIDS, Iowa — The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office responded to a car-deer crash at 7:24 p.m. Monday in the 3200 block of Iowa 9. Sheryl Kruse, 46, of George, Iowa, was driving a 2008 Buick eastbound on Iowa 9 when a deer entered the roadway and struck the driver’s side door. No injuries were reported. Kruse’s vehicle sustained approximately $2,500 in damage.
ADRIAN — The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch at the intersection of Nobles County 35 and 15 at 8:25 a.m. Tuesday.
