Accidents

SLAYTON — The Minnesota State Patrol investigated a two-vehicle accident at 11:46 a.m. Sunday on U.S. 59 three miles north of Slayton. Frank J. Kemper, 58, of Lismore, was driving a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck. He lost control of the vehicle, which collided with a 2004 Buick LeSabre drven by Warren C. Suckow, 72, of Slayton. No physical condition was available for either driver or the passengers in the vehicles, Roxanne Kemper, 61, of Lismore, and Bonita Suckow, 64, of Lismore. The Slayton Rescue Squad, Ambulance and Fire Department assisted at the scene. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage.

BINGHAM LAKE — The Minnesota State Patrol investigated a two-vehicle accident at 12:23 p.m. Sunday at Minnesota 60 and Cottonwood County 2 east of Bingham Lake. Dolores E. Peters, 76, of Mountain Lake, was driving a 1996 Honda Accord when she hit the shoulder of the road, lost control of the vehicle and hit a 2003 Dodge Caravan, driven by Alexander J. Sorensen, 16, of Comfrey, head-on. Both drivers and a passenger in the Caravan, Damone V. Sorensen, 58, of Comfrey, were treated at Sanford Windom Hospital and released. Both vehicles sustained severe damage.

WORTHINGTON — The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office investigated an accident with injuries at 4:03 p.m. Saturday at 260th Street and Nystrom Avenue.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated a hit-and-run accident in which the driver had hit a sign reported at 10:53 a.m. Sunday from Humiston Avenue and Okabena Street.

Ambulance

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 9:12 p.m. Friday to Worthington High School, 1211 Clary St. to assist a female who had been knocked out.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 10:44 p.m. Friday to 1535 Darling Drive.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 10:16 a.m. Saturday to the Nobles County Jail to assist an inmate who was having a seizure.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 12:01 a.m. Sunday to Sungold Heights Trailer Court.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 8:39 a.m. Sunday to The Meadows of Worthington, 1801 College Way, to assist a woman who had fallen and hit her head.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 12:10 p.m. Sunday to 2175 Nobles St. to assist a woman who had fallen.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 4:33 p.m. Sunday to Hy-Vee Food Store, 1235 Oxford St.

WORTHINGTON — The Nobles County Coroner was dispatched at 9:10 a.m. Saturday to 212 12th St.

Police

BREWSTER — The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office investigated an assault that was reported at 5:10 p.m. Friday on a bus route near Brewster.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department cited a driver for driving after revocation at 2:04 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of the Sunset Inn, 1923 Dover St.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department cited a driver for driving after suspension at 2:48 p.m. Saturday on Ryan’s Road.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated a domestic dispute reported at 9:06 a.m. Sunday from the 1000 block of Third Avenue.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department cited a driver for blocking the sidewalk at 3:22 p.m. Sunday in the 1300 block of Clary Street.
