WHS celebrating state trip

WORTHINGTON — There will be a pep fest/send-off for the Trojan girls’ basketball team today at 1:30 p.m. at the high school gym to acknowledge the team’s trip to the state tournament this week.
After the celebration at the high school, the team bus will go to Worthington Middle School and Prairie Elementay before departing for Minneapolis.
Fan bus for basketball tournament games
There will be fan buses for both the Worthington girls’ basketball game against Sauk Centre at the Target Center Wednesday and the boys’ basketball game against Redwood Valley in Marshall on Thursday.
For the girls’ game, fans can still reserve a spot on the bus for the 8 p.m. game. Fans should contact the high school office to reserve their spot.
The adult bus leaves at 3 p.m. and the student bus at 3:20 p.m. on Wednesday.
There are also still spots available on the bus to the boys’ game at Southwest Minnesota State University. Fans should call the high school office to claim a seat.
