Letter: Turn your lights on while driving in fog
Maybe I’m wrong, but isn’t there a law that says lights on a car must be on during fog?By: Kathryn Beers, Worthington, Worthington Daily Globe
Maybe I’m wrong, but isn’t there a law that says lights on a car must be on during fog?
Last Friday, the fog was the worst I’ve ever driven in. I’ve driven in snowstorms and pouring rain, but the fog was so bad last Friday that I couldn’t see the houses across the street as I drove to the YMCA. I met three cars without their lights on, and a pickup passed me with no lights on.
Because I was only going 15 to 20 mph a hour, I got to the Y OK. Drivers, though, should turn their lights on in dense fog.
