PREP BASKETBALL: WHS’s Weg, Henning earn All-SWC

WORTHINGTON — The Southwest Conference announced its roster for the all-conference boys’ basketball team earlier this week. Worthington, Luverne, Redwood Valley, Windom and Marshall each had two representatives on the first team, while Worthington, Redwood Valley, Jackson County Central, Marshall and Pipestone Area each had one player on the honorable mention list.

First-team members include Luverne’s Brandon Klein and Brett Heronimus; Windom’s Jake Holt and Lee Holt and Worthington’s Mitch Weg and Lucas Henning.

Athletes on the honorable mention squad include Jackson County Central’s Jon Harmening; Pipestone Area’s Jacob Derby and Worthington’s Morgan Traylor.
