ROCK RAPIDS, Iowa — The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office responded to a car-deer crash at 10:11 p.m. Wednesday in the 4200 block of 180th Street. Jenna Tilstra, 18, of Rock Rapids, was driving a 2007 Chevy HHR eastbound when a deer entered the roadway from the south ditch. Her vehicle sustained approximately $2,000 in damage. She was not injured.

BREWSTER — The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office was paged at 7:28 a.m. Thursday to the 700 block of Third Avenue for a verbal domestic in progress.
WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated a report of mailbox damage at 8:02 a.m. Thursday in the 1100 block of Briarwood Drive.
WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Police Department investigated two reports of mailbox damage at 8:24 and 8:26 a.m. Thursday in the 1300 block of Miles Drive.
ADRIAN — The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office cited an individual at 10:30 a.m. Thursday for failure to register as a sex offender in the 100 block of Delaware Avenue.
