PREP BOYS' AND GIRLS' GOLF: RRC falls to Redwood Valley 171-196

LAMBERTON — The Red Rock Central golf boys’ and girls’ golf teams dropped outings against Redwood Valley on Thursday.

For boys’, the team lost 171-196. Redwood Valley’s Alec Koster and Joe Smith were the medalists, each shooting a 42.

For RRC, Jordan Smith shot a 45, Zach Valentin shot a 49, Brandon Sohre shot a 50, Maison Miller and Casey Engen shot 52s and Skyler Vold shot a 56.

For girls’ golf, the team lost 218-223. RRC’s Alison Kircher was the medalist, shooting a 43 on the day.

For the rest of the RRC squad, Shelby Evans shot a 58, Kylie Redenius shot a 60, Jaycee Nelson shot a 62, Makayla Meier shot a 63 and Shanaya Prins shot a 68.

The RRC boys’ and girls’ golf teams each compete against Fulda on Tuesday.
