PREP SOFTBALL: Adrian falls to 0-3 with loss to Lakeview

ELLSWORTH — aThe Adrian softball team dropped to 0-3 on the season after losing to Lakeview 5-1 on Thursday.

The Dragons were led by Harli Homan, who went 2-for-4, Nina Weidert (2-for-3) and Heidi Nolte, who had the team’s sole RBI.

Jessi Meyer started the game for the Dragons, tossing 5 1/3 innings. She gave up five hits, had three strikeouts and walked five batters.

Rachel Kontz came in for the final 1 2/3 innings for Adrian. She finished the game giving up three hits, no runs, two walks and had one strikeout.

Lyndsey Peterson won the game for Lakeview. She tossed six innings, giving up one earned run on six hits, striking out eight and walking no batters.

Adrian’s next game is Tuesday at Murray County Central.
