PREP BOYS' AND GIRLS' GOLF ROUNDUP: Murray County Central boys and Fulda girls win Red Rock Central golf triangular

SANBORN – The Murray County Central boys’ golf team won a triangular meet against Fulda and Red Rock Central Tuesday.

SANBORN – The Murray County Central boys’ golf team won a triangular meet against Fulda and Red Rock Central Tuesday.

MCC won the meet with a 163, RRC came in second with a 187 and Fulda finished with a 193.

The medalist was Adam Christensen of MCC, who shot a 39.

For the Rebels, Christensen shot a 39, Grant Everson shot a 40, Devin Erickson and Devin Ryan shot 42s, Ben Loosbrock shot a 49 and Cole DeGreeff shot a 57.

For the Falcons, Jordan Smith shot a 41, Zach Valentin shot a 46, Bradon Sohre shot a 49, Maison Miller shot a 51, Casey Engen shot a 56 and Adam Knorr shot a 61.

And for the Raiders, Mitch Baumhoefner, Mic Holinka and Cole Dierks shot 48s, Austin Clarke shot a 49, Todd Peterson shot a 50 and Aaron Tiesler shot a 52.

RRC competes in a triangular Thursday against Luverne and Edgerton/Southwest Christian. Fulda travels to Worthington on Thursday for a meet and MCC takes on Adrian Tuesday.

Fulda 205, MCC 214, RRC 220

SANBORN – The Fulda girls’ golf team won a triangular meet against Murray County Central and Red Rock Central Tuesday.

Fuda won the meet with a 205, MCC came in second with a 214 and RRC finished with a 220.

The medalist was Alison Kircher of RRC, who shot a 43.

For the Raiders, Tessa Kramer shot a 46, Madeline Westra shot a 50, Sarah Stenge shot a 52, Brittany Leinen shot a 57, Katie Reynolds shot a 61 and Mallory pagel shot a 63.

For the Rebels, Hannah Davis shot a 46, Liz Prahm shot a 52, Haleigh Clarke shot a 56, Macy Halbur shot a 60, Rebekah Nystevold shot a 65 and Kirbie Tedrick shot a 70.

And for the Falcons, Kircher shot a 43, Shelby Evans shot a 57, Makayla Meier shot a 59, Jaycee Nelson shot a 61, Kylie Redenius shot a 62 and Shanaya Prins shot 81.

RRC competes in a triangular Thursday against Luverne and Edgerton/Southwest Christian. Fulda travels to Worthington on Thursday for a meet and MCC takes on Adrian Tuesday.

Windom 158, Luverne 166

WINDOM – The Windom boys’ golf defeated Luverne in a dual meet Tuesday.

The medalist was Thomas Elness of Windom, who shot a 37.

For the Eagles, Elness shot a 37, Adam Eisenmenger shot a 38, Landon Johnson shot a 41 and Christian Schuck shot a 42.

For the Cardinals, Dylan Skattum shot a 39, Brandon Klein shot a 40, Matt Sterrett shot a 43 and Mark Spreiter shot a 44.

Luverne takes on Edgerton/Southwest Christian and Red Rock Central in a triangular meet Thursday, while Windom competes against RRC on Friday.

Windom 191, Luverne 209

WINDOM – The Windom girls’ golf team defeated Luverne in a dual meet Tuesday.

The medalist was Kelsey Hanefeld of Windom, shooting a 45 on the day.

For the Eagles, Hanefeld shot a 45, Megan Will shot a 46, Marissa Cartwright shot a 46 and Maitland Vollan shot a 54.

For the Cardinals, Emily Spreiter shot 48, Emilee Johnson 50, Kristen Olson 55 and Makayla Sterrett shot a 56.

Luverne takes on Edgerton/Southwest Christian and Red Rock Central in a triangular meet Thursday, while Windom competes against RRC on Friday.

W-WG 169, SWC 189 H-BC 190

ADRIAN – Westbrook-Walnut Grove took the boys’ golf triangular behind Dana Madson 38, which earned him medalist honors. Taylor Lindaman shot a 43, Nick Lehnhoff shot a 44, and Reed Bakken shot a 44 for W-WG.

Monte DeKam earned medalist honors with a 40 to lead Southwest Christian. Tadd Van’t Hof and Jay DeBoer shot 48s and Trey VanEssen shot a 53 for the Eagles.

Hills-Beaver Creek was led by Austin Rauk (46), Wyatt Ellefson (47), Cody Ellefson (49) and Caleb Schroer (49).

SWC takes on W-WG

ADRIAN – Emaleigh Vreeman earned medalist honors, shooting a 38, for Southwest Christian’s girls’ golf team. Carli Hulstein shot a 53 and Jen Schmit shot a 62 for the Eagles.

Abby Herding earned medalist honors for Westbrook-Walnut Grove, shooting a 48, while Paige Erickson shot a 53 for the Chargers.
