FULDA – The Fulda boys’ and girls’ golf teams defeated Southwest Christian in an outing Tuesday.
The girls’ won with a score of 204 against an incomplete SWC team.
Madeline Westra shot a 48, Sarah Strenge shot a 50, Brittany Leinen shot a 51 and Katie Reynolds shot a 55.
SWC’s Emaleigh Vreeman was the medalist, shooting a 44.
Jen Schmidt shot a 54 and Carly Hulstein shot a 61 for SWC.
The boys’ defeated SWC 159-190.
Fulda’s Mitch Baumhoefner and Mic Holinka were the low medalists, shooting 38s.
Aaron Tiesler shot a 41 and Todd Peterson shot a 42 for the Raiders.
For SWC; Monte DeKam shot a 44, Klint Knutson shot a 48, Trey VanEssen shot a 48 and Tadd Van’t Hof shot a 50.
Fulda’s next match is Thursday at Pipestone. SWC takes on Tracy-Milroy-Balaton on Thursday.
JCC 185, Marshall 210
JACKSON — The Jackson County Central girls’ golf team defeated Marshall, while the boys’ team lost 154-175 Tuesday.
In girls’, JCC’s Kaylee Benson was the medalist, shooting a 40.
Emma Lilleberg shot a 47, Alison Benson and Abby Benson shot 49s, Shelby Benson shot a 52 and Lexie Hoffman shot a 53 for the Huskies.
In boys’, Marshall’s Max Deutz and Brent Hawkom were the medalists, each shooting 38s.
Kyle Edlin shot a 40, Joe Brinkman shot a 42, Jake Ringkob shot a 44, John Marker shot a 49, Matt Ringkob shot a 52 and Kyle Christopher shot a 53 for JCC.
JCC’s next golf outing is Thursday against Worthington.
W-WG 174, T-M-B 194
WESTBROOK — The Westbrook-Walnut Grove boys’ golf team defeated Tracy-Milroy-Balaton 174-194, while the W-WG girls’ team defeated T-M-B 229-259 Tuesday afternoon.
In boys’, W-WG’s Dana Madsen was the medalist, shooting a 39.
Reed Bakken shot a 44, Aaron Hass shot a 45 and Taylor Lindaman shot a 46 for W-WG.
In girls’, W-WG’s Abby Herding was the medalist, shooting a 46.
Paige Erickson shot a 57, Avoree Bakken shot a 58 and Deziree Koenig shot a 68 for W-WG.
The W-WG girls’ and boys’ teams each play against Tracy-Milroy-Balaton again on Friday.
Springfield 224, RRC 256
SPRINGFIELD — The Red Rock Central girls’ golf team lost 224-256 to Springfield, while the RRC boys’ team finished second in a triangular against Springfield and Cedar Mountain/Comfrey Tuesday.
In girls’, Springfield’s Callie Wersal was the medalist, shooting a 46.
For RRC; Shelby Evans shot a 59, Alison Kircher shot a 60, Hannah Sell shot a 67, Makayla Meier and Kylie Redenius shot 70s and Jaycee Nelson shot a 74.
In boys’, Springfield won with a 186, RRC finished second with a 196 and CM/C finished third with a 228.
The medalist was Springfield’s Chris Kretsch, who shot a 43.
For RRC; Casey Engen shot a 46, Skyler Vold shot a 49, Maison Miller shot a 50, Jordan Smith shot a 51 and Brandon Sohre and Zach Valentin shot 53s.
The RRC boys’ and girls’ teams take on Worthington and Wabasso on Friday.
