NOTICE
PROPOSED CITY ORDINANCE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, That the City Council of the City of Worthington, Minnesota, is considering the adoption of AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND TITLE IX OF THE CITY CODE OF WORTHINGTON, NOBLES COUNTY, MINNESOTA TO ESTABLISH THE PUBLIC ARTS COMMISSION.
The purpose of the Public Arts Commission is, but not limited to, acting in an advisory capacity to the City Council for the City for recommendations, opportunities, compliance, funding and grants regarding public art with the city limits.
The proposed ordinance was given its first reading at a Regular Meeting of the City Council held on Monday, April 9, 2012.
Said proposed ordinance will again be considered by the City Council at a Regular Meeting to be held on Monday, April 23, 2012 in the City Hall Council Chambers, 303 Ninth Street of said City.
