Notice of Hearing on Proposed Improvement

NOTICE OF HEARING ON PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT

To Whom it May Concern:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, That, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes §§ 429.011 to 429.111, the City Council of the City of Worthington, Nobles County, Minnesota, will meet in Council Chambers of City Hall at 7:00 p.m., on Monday, April 23, 2012, to consider the making of the following described improvement:

1. An improvement of the following described streets by regrading, base reconstruction, necessary curb and gutter reconstruction, and resurfacing:

FRANKLIN STREET from East Avenue to Sherwood Street;

SHERWOOD STREET from Nobles Street to Franklin Street;

TREVOR STREET from East Avenue to Murray Avenue;

and an improvement of the following described alleys by regrading, base reconstruction, and resurfacing:

ALLEY in BLOCK 28, PLAT of WORTHINGTON from Sixth Avenue to Seventh Avenue, abutting Lots 2, 3, 10, and 11;

ALLEY in BLOCK 28, PLAT of WORTHINGTON from Sixth Avenue to Seventh Avenue, abutting Lots 4, 5, 8, and 9.

The area proposed to be assessed for such improvement is that property abutting said streets and alleys described above. The estimated total cost of the improvement is $293,400.

2. A reasonable estimate of the impact of the assessment will be available at the hearing. Such persons as desire to be heard with reference to the proposed improvement will be heard at this meeting.
