PREP BOYS' AND GIRLS' GOLF ROUNDUP: Hills-Beaver Creek beats Fulda 178-182

FULDA — The Hills-Beaver Creek boys’ golf team defeated Fulda 178-182 Friday afternoon.

FULDA — The Hills-Beaver Creek boys’ golf team defeated Fulda 178-182 Friday afternoon.

The low medalist was Fulda’s Mitch Baumhoefner, who shot a 38 on the afternoon.

The Patriots’ score of 178 was made up of Caleb Schroer’s 39, Austin Rauk’s 42, Wyatt Ellefson’s 48 and Stuart Plimpton’s 49.

The Raiders’ score of 182 was made up of Baumhoefner’s 38, Aaron Tiesler’s 45, Austin Clarke’s 48 and Joey Voss’ 51.

H-BC’s next match is Monday against Red Rock Central, while Fulda takes on Mountain Lake Christian on Monday.

JCC 172, ELC 174

JACKSON — The Jackson County Central boys’ golf team defeated Estherville Lincoln Central in a home match Friday afternoon.

The low medalist was ELC’s Max Brashear, who shot a 39 on the afternoon.

The Huskies’ score of 172 was made up of Kyle Edlin and Jack Ringkob’s 42s, Matt Ringkob’s 43, John Marker’s 45, Joe Brinkman’s 46 and Austin Olson’s 48.

JCC’s next outing is Tuesday against Martin County West.

W-WG 177, T-M-B 208

TRACY — The Westbrook-Walnut Grove boys’ golf team defeated Tracy-Milroy-Balaton, while the girls’ team lost to T-M-B Friday afternoon.

The boys’ low medalist was W-WG’s Taylor Lindaman, who shot a 42 on the day.

The Chargers’ score of 177 was made up of Lindaman’s 42, Nick Lehnhoff’s 43, Reed Bakken’s 44 and Walker Christian’s 48.

T-M-B’s score of 208 was made up of Mike Nilius’ 48, Tanner Benson’s 52, Nathan Snell’s 53 and John Friszold’s 55.

The T-M-B girls’ won by default because W-WG golfed with an incomplete team. T-M-B shot a 215 as a team.

The girls’ low medalist was T-M-B’s Morgan Benson, who shot a 51.

T-M-B’s score of 215 was made up of Benson’s 51, Anna Pommier and Annika Anderson’s 52s and Morgan Anderson’s 60.

Paige Erickson shot a 52, Abby Herding shot a 54 and Aubree Bakken shot a 57 for the Chargers.

The W-WG boys and girls’ teams compete against Wabasso on Tuesday, while the T-M-B teams take on Lincoln HI on Tuesday.

Windom 158, CM/C 199

WINDOM — The Windom boys’ golf team defeated Cedar Mountain/Comfrey 158-199 Friday, while the Windom girls defeated an incomplete CM/C team with a score of 187.

The boys’ low medalist was Fulda’s Dylan Pigman, who shot a 37.

Windom’s score of 158 was made up of Pigman’s 37, Adam Eisenmenger and Chrstian Schuck’s 39s and Thomas Elness’ 43.

The girls’ low medalist was Windom’s Kelsey Hanefeld, who shot a 43.

Windom’s score of 187 was made up of Hanefeld’s 43, Megan Will’s 45, Marissa Cartwright’s 47 and Hannah Kloss’ 52.

The Windom boys’ and girls’ team’s next match is Tuesday against Fulda.

MCC 206, Adrian 220

ADRIAN — The Murray County Central girls’ golf team defeated Adrian 206-220 Tuesday, while the MCC boys’ won a triangular meet with a score of 174 against Hills-Beaver Creek (185) and Adrian (191).

The girls’ low medalist was MCC’s Haleigh Clark, who shot a 50.

The Rebels’ score of 206 was made up of Clark’s 50, Hannah Davis’ 51, Kirbie Tedrick’s 52, Liz Prahm’s 53, Celsey Jurrens’ 54 and Mary Halbur’s 58.

Adrian’s score of 220 was made up of Marissa Veld’s 52, Katie Wieneke and Jada Elias’ 53s, Sam Boyle’s 62 and Mackenzie Wagner’s 64.

The boys’ low medalist was MCC’s Grant Everson, who shot a 39.

The Rebels’ score of 174 was made up of Everson’s 39, Devin Erickson’s 40, Adam Christensen’s 46, Ben Loosbrock’s 49, Cole Degreeff’s 54 and Dylan Nelson’s 65.

H-BC’s score of 185 was made up of Caleb Schoer and Austin Rauk’s 43s, Wyatt Ellefson’s 47, Cody Ellefson’s 52, Stuart Plimpton’s 55 and Jacob Osborn’s 56.

The Dragon’s score of 191 was made up of Ryan Elias’ 45, Justin Elias’ 46, Ben Henning’s 49, Collin Kemper’s 51, Troy Chistensen’s 55 and Tommy McCarthy’s 60.
