LUVERNE — Luverne’s baseball team cruised to a 15-4 win over Southwestern United Monday.
Skylar Wenninger led the way for Luverne (5-1), going 2-for-4 with four RBIs, two runs and a stolen base. Matt Overgaard (two runs) had three RBIs on two hits, Cody Christensen had two RBIs and Johnny Solma (three runs), Wyatt Aubert and Jeremy Reisdorfer each chipped in an RBI for the Cardinals.
Luke Henkels led SWU (0-7) with a run and four RBIs, while Eric Jass chipped in two runs for the Wildcats.
Luverne will travel to Windom today and SWU will host Murray County Central today.

WESTBROOK — Red Rock Central/Westbrook-Walnut Grove’s Taylor Vollmer (1-for-2) cleared the bases on a three-run triple in the bottom of the fourth inning to give RRC/W-WG (6-2) a lead it would never relinquish versus Lakeview in baseball action Monday.
Brian Hagberg was 1-for-1 with an RBI, Henry Rogotzke was 1-for-2 with a triple and Daniel Maras, Vollmer and Colby Davis combined for 11 strikeouts and one walk on the mound for RRC/W-WG.
RRC/W-WG will host ML/B-O today.

ADRIAN — Mitchell Sieve was 3-for-3 with three doubles and five RBIs, while picking up the save on the mound, Jake Diekmann was 2-for-3 with three RBIs and Jake Tiede had an RBI-double to lead Adrian’s baseball team Monday.
Nate Dubbelde had a double and Austin Evans had an RBI-single to lead Pipestone Area (3-2).
AHS (3-4) will host Edgerton/Southwest Christian today and Pipestone Area will host Luverne in a doubleheader Thursday.

Damon Vander Maten had the lone hit for E/SWC.
MCC (3-1) will play at Southwestern United today.
