PREP BOYS' AND GIRLS' GOLF: Erickson leads Murray County Central over Round-Lake Brewster 161-212

WORTHINGTON — Murray County Central’s boys’ golf team knocked off Round-Lake Brewster at Prairie View Golf Course Tuesday 161-212.

WORTHINGTON — Murray County Central’s boys’ golf team knocked off Round-Lake Brewster at Prairie View Golf Course Tuesday 161-212.

Devin Erickson was the medalist, scoring a 38, while Ben Loosbrock scored a 40, Adam Christensen shot a 41 and Devin Ryan notched a 42 to help lead MCC.

R-LB was led by Kyle Wendland’s 40. Colin Meinders shot a 49, Logan Ellenbecker chipped in a 51 and Lee Marki added a 72 for R-LB.

MCC will travel to Westbrook-Walnut Grove Tuesday.

Marshall 142, Luverne 153

MARSHALL — Brandon Klein shot a 38, Dylan Skattum scored a 39, Matthew Sterrett shot a 36 and Mark Spreiter had a 40, but it was not enough for Luverne’s boys’ golf team Tuesday at Marshall Golf Club.

Luverne will host Redwood Valley Thursday.

Windom 166, Fulda 167

FULDA — Adam Eisenmenger was the low medalist, shooting a 38 for Windom.

Christian Schuck shot a 41, Thomas Elness shot a 43 and Dylan Pisman shot a 44 for Windom in the team’s win Tuesday.

Aaron Tiesler shot a 39, Todd Peterson shot a 41, Mitch Baumhoefner shot a 42 and Mic Holinka shot a 45 for Fulda.

Windom’s next outing is Friday against Jackson County Central and Red Rock Central. Fulda’s next outing is Thursday against Southwest Christian.

Fulda 186, Windom 188

FULDA — Windom’s Marissa Cartwright was the medalist after shooting a 41 in a meet against Fulda on Tuesday.

Tessa Kramer shot a 44, Madeline Westra shot a 46, Sarah Strenge shot a 48 and Katie Reynolds shot a 48 for Fulda.

Maitland Vollan shot a 48, Hannah Kloss shot a 49 and Kelsey Hanefeld shot a 50 for Windom.

Fulda’s next outing is Thursday against Southwest Christian, while Windom goes up against Jackson County Central and Red Rock Central Friday.

H-BC 180, SWC 195

LARCHWOOD, Iowa—Caleb Schroer from Hills-Beaver Creek was the low medalist Tuesday, shooting a 40 on the afternoon.

Austin Rauk shot a 41, Cody Ellefson shot a 47 and Wyatt Ellefson shot a 52 for H-BC.

Monte DeKam shot a 43, Jacob Kreun shot a 49, Klint Knutson shot a 50 and Trey Van Essen shot a 53 for Southwest Christian.

H-BC’s next outing is Thursday against Round Lake-Brewster, while SWC takes on Fulda on Thursday.

JCC 196, MCW 214

JACKSON — Kaylee Benson earned medalist honors with a 41 to lead Jackson County Central’s girls’ golf team over Martin County West Tuesday. Abby Benson shot a 50, Alison Benson shot a 52 and Abby Brinkman scored a 53 to help pace the Huskies.

JCC will host Redwood Valley Tuesday.

JCC 167, MCW 186

JACKSON — Joe Brinkman and Jack Ringkob shot 41s to earn co-medalist honors and lead Jackson County Central’s boys’ golf team over Martin County West Tuesday.

Kyle Edlin shot a 42 and John Marker added a 43 to chip in for JCC.

JCC will host Windom Friday.
