PREP BOYS' AND GIRLS' GOLF: W-WG boys beat Wabasso

SANBORN — Westbrook-Walnut Grove’s boys’ golf team defeated Wabasso 174-231 Tuesday.
Dana Madson was the medalist with a 35, while Nick Lehnoff chipped in a 44, Taylor Lindaman scored a 46 and Walker Christians added a 49 to help lead W-WG (1-8).
In girls’ golf action, W-WG fell to Wabasso 224-237.
Abby Herding earned medalist honors with a 49, while Avoree Bakken added a 54, Paige Erickson Shot a 55 and Deziree Koenig added a 79 for W-WG (8-1).
W-WG girls and boys’ golf teams will host Red Rock Central today.
