PREP GOLF: Windom golfers win dual meet against JCC

WINDOM — The Windom boys’ and girls’ golf teams defeated Jackson County Central in their dual meets Friday.

WINDOM — The Windom boys’ and girls’ golf teams defeated Jackson County Central in their dual meets Friday.

On the girls’ side, Windom won 192-201. The low medalist was Megan Will of Windom, who shot a 45 on the afternoon.

Making up the rest of Windom’s 192 was Kelsey Hanefeld (47), Marissa Cartwright (48) and Miki Bolin (52). Maitland Volland shot a 54 and Hannah Kloss shot a 56 as well.

Making up the Huskies’ 201 was Kaylee Benson (47), Emma Lilleberg (49), Shelby Benson (52) and Alison Benson (53). Lexie Hoffman and Abby Brinkman each shot 53s as well.

On the boys’ side, Windom won 169-179. The co-low medalists were Adam Eisenmenger of Windom and Kyle Edlin of JCC, each of them shot 37s on the day.

Making up the rest of Windom’s 169 was Thomas Elness (44), Christian Schuck (43) and Dylan Pigman (45).

Making up the rest of JCC’s 179 was Jack Ringkob (48), Kyle Kapplinger (48) and Kyle Christopher (46).

JCC’s next meet is Tuesday against Redwood Valley, while Windom takes on Saint James on Monday.
