PREP GOLF: RRC boys’ and girls’ golf teams defeat Adrian

SANBORN — The Red Rock Central girls’ and boys’ golf teams won their dual meets against Adrian Friday.

On the boys’ side, RRC won 193-201. The Falcons’ Zach Valentin was the low medalist, shooting a 46 on the afternoon.

Making up the rest of RRC’s 193 was Jordan Smith (48), Adam Knorr (49), Brandon Sohre (50), Skyler Vold (52) and Casey Engen (61).

Making up the Dragons’ 201 was Ryan Elias (48), Collin Kemper (50), Ben Henning (51), Justin Elias (52), Tommy McCarthy (54) and Troy Christians (60).

On the girls’ side, RRC won 217-222. The Falcons’ Alison Kircher was the low medalist, shooting a 48 on the day.

Making up the rest of RRC’s 217 was Makayla Meier (55), Kylie Redenius (57), Jaycee Nelson (57), Shelby Evans (61) and Shanaya Prins (65).

Making up the Dragons’ 222 was Katie Wieneke (50), Marissa Veld (51), MacKenzie Wagner (57), Sam Boyle (64) and Jada Elias (67).

Adrian’s next meet is Tuesday against Westbrook-Walnut Grove and Hills-Beaver Creek, while RRC takes on Jackson County Central on Thursday.
