LAMBERTON — Red Rock Central/Westbrook-Walnut Grove’s baseball team handed Murray County Central its first loss in the Red Rock Conference Thursday with a 3-2 win.
Brady Bierl, who pitched a no-hitter versus MCC and lost in the teams’ last meeting, got the win on the mound for RRC/W-WG (8-4, 4-2), striking out six, while giving up two earned runs and three hits. Taylor Vollmer was 2-for-2 with a run and two stolens bases, Daniel Maras scored a run and Jeff DeCock had a two-out, two-run double, scoring Dylan Bunting and Vollmer.
Austin Kluis and Chris Halbur each were 1-for-3 with an RBI for MCC (7-2, 6-1).
MCC will host Mountain Lake/Butterfield-Odin Tuesday and RRC/W-WG will travel to Jackson County Central today.

LUVERNE — In Game 1, Cooper Moore got the win on the mound, going six innings, giving up one earned run with three strikeouts, Tanner Menke had two runs and two RBIs, Brett Larson had two runs and three RBIs and Phil Buschena had two RBIs to lead Jackson County Central in the SWC clash Thursday.
Buschena (2-for-3), Colyn Hohenstein, Carson Nyborg (two runs) and Josh Thaemlitz each had an RBI, Moore was 2-for-4 with two runs, a homer and two RBIs, Dustin Pronk had two RBIs and Menke had three RBIs to lead JCC (8-2, 6-1).
In Game 1, Richard Gonzalez was 2-for-3 with an RBI and Skylar Wenninger was 1-for-4 with an RBI for Luverne. Gonzalez (2-for-4), Brady Dinger, Reed Skattum, Cody Christensen and Josh Slieter each had an RBI for the Cardinals (8-3, 5-3) in Game 2.
JCC will host Red Rock Central/Westbrook-Walnut Grove today and Luverne will travel to Fairmont Monday.

ADRIAN — Beau Herrig pitched a complete game, striking out four and allowing two runs for Mountain Lake/Butterfield-Odin’s baseball team Thursday.
Kaleb Grev was 2-for-3 with a three-run homer and Carter Kirk was 2-for-4 with two doubles for ML/B-O (7-5, 4-1).
Mitchell Sieve went five innings on the mound, allowing five runs on nine hits and striking out three, while going 2-for-2 with two doubles at the plate for Adrian (4-7, 2-4).
Adrian will play at Windom Saturday in a tournament and ML/B-O will travel to Murray County Central Tuesday.

EDGERTON — Edgerton/Southwest Christian debuted its new infield with a win Thursday in baseball action.
Dominic Nibbelink (2-for-4, run, RBI), Luke Nibbelink (1-for-3, two runs, RBI), Andrew Top (1-for-3, two runs, two RBIs), Blake Jouwstra (1-for-2, RBI), Damon Vander Maten (1-for-2, two runs), Gabe Vander Veen (2-for-4, two RBIs, run) and Jesse Berning (1-for-3, RBI, run) led E/SWC (2-7).
Eric Jass was 3-for-5 with a run, Luke Henkels was 2-for-5 with two runs and an RBI, Kyle Elder was 2-for-4 with a run and Austin Liepold was 1-for-4 with a three-run homer and two runs to lead SWU (0-12).
E/SWC will host Minneota today.
