Lohmann-Jansen

Jerry and Sharon Jansen, Worthington, announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittany Jansen, to Matthew Lohmann, son of Bob and Carol Lohmann, Crystal Lake, Ill.

Jansen has an associate degree from Minnesota West Community and Technical College, bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a master’s degree in English from St. Cloud State University. She is currently teaching English for Harper College and McHenry County College, both in Illinois. She is also a strength and conditioning coach for Crossfit AMRAP, Lake in the Hills, Ill.

Lohmann is a graduate of Kansas State University with a degree in landscape architecture. He is currently employed as a project architect for Lohmann Golf Design, Marengo, Ill. He is also the owner/operator of Crossfit AMRAP, Lake in the Hills.

They plan a July 28 wedding in Crystal Lake.
