Habitat for Humanity plans groundbreaking

LUVERNE — Southwestern Minnesota Habitat for Humanity will host a groundbreaking ceremony for the Sheryl Staeffler family home at 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

LUVERNE — Southwestern Minnesota Habitat for Humanity will host a groundbreaking ceremony for the Sheryl Staeffler family home at 9:30 a.m. Saturday. The new home will be located at 213 E. Bishop, Luverne.

Following the groundbreaking there will be a pancake breakfast from 10 to 11:30 a.m, at St. Catherine Catholic Church. The event is hosted by Southwestern Minnesota Habitat for Humanity and The Knights of Columbus.

There will be a contractor’s meeting at 8:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall at St. Catherine Catholic Church for anyone interested in receiving information on helping with the home’s construction.
