Alex Kremer was the medalist for the boys, shooting a 38, while Will Mulder and Jake Woll chipped in 41s and Seth Meier added a 42 to help lead the Trojans. Jacob Weg shot a 46 and Zach Heidebrink shot a 50 as well for Worthington.

“Today we played a much better round of golf than we did this weekend,” WHS Ron Wood said. “The winds were significant today, but they kept the ball in play. I was really pleased.

“I told them to be competitive. We aren’t that far behind some of the good teams, especially if we keep shooting 162s.”

In girls’ golf action, Kate Lesnar earned medalst honors with a 38, Mariah Haffield had a 47, McKenzie Hurley shot a 50 and Morgan Harberts added a 52 for the Trojans. Genna Putnam shot a 53 and Tyree Muray added a 55 for Worthington.
