PREP BASEBALL ROUNDUP: Tracy-Milroy-Balaton holds off Adrian 8-7

TRACY — Jordan Lanoue got the win on the mound, striking out three and giving up one hit in 2 1/3 innings of work, while Brady Peterson was 2-for-4 and Taylor Hoffbeck had an RBI double to lead Tracy-Milroy-Balaton’s baseball team over Adrian Saturday.

A.J. Tiesler was 2-for-4 with a run, Jake Tiede had a two-run double, Adam Garms had an RBI double and Jake Diekmann scored two runs to lead Adrian (5-10).

T-M-B (9-5) will travel to Lakeview today and Adrian travels to Edgerton Tuesday.

MILROY — Cody Penner was 2-for-3 with two singles and an RBI, Carter Kirk was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs, and Beau Herrig was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs, while going all seven innings, striking out four and walking one on the mound for Mountain Lake/Butterfield-Odin’s baseball team Saturday.

ML/B-O (8-7) will take on Edgerton/Southwest Christian today.
