ROCK RAPIDS, Iowa — The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office investigated a report of a one-vehicle crash at 8 a.m. Monday in the 1100 block of Goldfinch Avenue. Seventeen-year-old Natalie Sinnett of Rock Rapids was driving a 2003 Pontiac Bonneville southbound when she lost control of the vehicle and struck a fence, tree and utility pole before she able to gain control of the vehicle, which sustained approximately $3,000 in damage.

WORTHINGTON — The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 11:49 a.m. Tuesday to South Shore Care Center to assist a person who fainted.
