Letter: Love INC appreciative of generosity

I would like to offer a big thank you to Kay Williams Prunty, The Dance Academy, all of the dancers, and their families and friends for supporting the ministries of Love In the Name of Christ of Worthington.

The Dance Academy recently sponsored Love INC through their spring dance recitals. The Dance Academy collected donations of personal care items from those attending the recitals. These items will go to our newly developed Personal Care Closet. Thanks to your generosity, nearly 600 items were donated.

With the help of individuals in the Worthington community, we have been able to assist our 17 partner churches in creating new ministries targeted at real needs within the community. To date, a Furniture Ministry, Bed/Bath Linen Ministry, and Laundry/Dish Soap Ministry have been formed. In addition, three other ministries are also in various stages of development, including the Personal Care Closet. These ministries will help local struggling families by not just providing basic products and services but also the comfort and support that come from caring church volunteers.
