PREP BOYS' AND GIRLS' GOLF ROUNDUP: Murray County Central sweeps Mountain Lake

MOUNTAIN LAKE — Murray County Central’s golf squads swept Mountain Lake Friday, as the Rebel boys won 177-202 and the girls won by default.

Devin Erickson earned medalist honors for MCC, shooting a 40, while Grant Everson added a 45 and Ben Loosbrock and Devin Ryan each added 46s for the Rebels.

The girls were led by Hannah Davis’ 48, while Chelsey Jurrens earned a 50, Haleigh Clarked added a 53 and Liz Prahm shot a 55.

Windom sweeps Redwood Valley

REDWOOD FALLS — Windom’s boys’ and girls’ golf teams took down Redwood Valley Friday, as the girls won 191-211 and the boys won 169-186.

Megan Will was the medalist on the girls’ side, shooting a 46, while Kelsey Hanefeld shot a 47 and Marissa Cartwright and Hannah Kloss each added 59s.

In boys’ action, Landon Johnson earned co-medalist honors, shooting a 41 to lead Windom, while Adam Eisenmenger added a 42 and Thomas Elness and Christian Schuck each scored 43s for the Eagles.
